- 10/29/01 - Helen Miller, Team Leader/MD, Jon Jui, MD, Jo Su, MD, Brent Sholar, MD, John Brandon, PA, and Colleen Grunow, Pharmacist, deployed to New York to supplement WA-1 DMAT in providing care for response teams working at Ground Zero.
- 10/18/01 - Susan Bauman, PA and Rodney Dodge, MD, deployed to New York. Both are assigned to provide medical care for response teams working at Ground Zero.
- 10/15/01 - Jim Thomas, EMT-P, Cheryl Thomas, EMT-P, Mark Bothe, Pharmacist, Cindy Parks, Pharmacist, Helen Miller, MD and Brent Sholar, MD returned, from Haiti where they worked with healthcare providers from Washington and Maryland in serving the medical needs of the rural poor at a remote clinic.

- 9/12/01 - ODMT was mentioned by Senator Gordon Smith in his speech on the Senate floor on Wednesday, Sept 12. "I take this opportunity to recognize some Oregonians who are doing their part to respond to this tragedy. The Oregon Disaster Medical Assistance Team has assembled and is prepared for immediate deployment by the Office of Emergency Preparedness. Many of their colleagues have already been deployed; the Oregon team is still on the ground awaiting availability of air
transport. Their courage and willingness to serve is one of many bright lights that have brightened this dark day."
